Why
use Member Connect?
For a variety of reasons. SCM is a membership and a community.
This is a way to communicate with members before or after
an event, and also learn something about them through reading
their profiles - possibly something you wouldn't learn
meeting them for the first time at an event. Meet someone
at an SCM event and want to stay in touch? Check Member
Connect...they might have a profile posted and now you
can email them instantly. Or, maybe you're interested in
attending an event but want to see if another person might
be interested in going with you, send them an email and
ask. There are a lot of reasons to use Member Connect!
Is my email address visible
to others?
No, it is kept private. None of your personal information
is visible to the person receiving an email from you.
Can
I update my profile?
Yes, just log
in and go to your "Account Settings." Make your changes
and click "Save." Voila!...the changes are immediately
reflected in your profile. You can update your responses
at any time.
How
do I upload my photo?
This happens
in the same place that you complete your profile questions.
There will be a spot that says "Upload." The
photo should be visible within 72 hours. View photo specifications.
Are photos necessary?
They aren't necessary, but most profiles aren't looked
at very closely without photos. This site is for dating
but also friendships (which you indicate in your profile)
so posting a photo does not mean that you're looking to
date. Rather it's a good way for others to see who they
are talking to.

Does
Member Connect cost anything?
It's free to view the
profiles and send emails. There is a cost for additional features.
